What you will need:

Step 1)

Preparation is the key! Once you have Blow-dried your hair correctly – Follow previous blog post – My Top 5 Hair Styling BrushesSection your hair horizontally from ear to ear using your pin tail comb starting from the base of your head, secure with a flat section clip.

Step 2)

Using your Large Curling Tong, I’m using my GHD Curve Classic Curl Tong. Select a piece of hair approx 2 inches thick, open tong clasp and place the tong pointing downwards at 1 inch away from the root, wrap remaining hair away from your face around the tong, when you get to the end of the hair section hold just away from tong and close clasp, this will not secure your hair in the tong but will increase the curl. Hold hair in tong for 5 seconds

Step 3)

Lightly unwrap the curl away from the tong, hold curl loosely in your hand until it’s cool, then release. Hold the very tip of the curl, lightly pull to loosen the curl into more of a wave.

Work in the same way until you get to the middle of your hair section, then start on the opposite side and work towards the middle to meet the other curls. You must always work away from your face.

Step 4)

Once completed this section of hair, Take another section of hair horizontally working into a halo section up your head until all of your hair is curled.

Step 5)

Select your shine spray, lightly spray approx 15cm away from your hair for an overall gloss feel, then using a very small amount of your finishing serum rub through your hands and fingers and gently pull the curls through to blend the individual sections and then scrunching the very ends.    Perfection!
